Interview with the Dean of the College of Navigation and Space Technology on Chinese television (CGTN)

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and Professor Dr. Osama Shalaby, Dean of the Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology,
The chinese television network CGTN conducted an extensive interview with Professor Dr. Osama Shalabi, coinciding with the visit of the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, to Egypt, and the celebration by both countries of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Egyptian-Chinese diplomatic relations. The interview highlighted the pivotal milestones of space and scientific cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting addressed the importance of Egyptian-Chinese cooperation in the field of space science and technology, in addition to scholarships offered to Egyptian students to complete master's and doctoral studies in the fields of space technology.
He also reviewed the most prominent milestones of cooperation, most notably the Assembly, Integration and Testing Center (AIT), and the Egyptian participation in the Chang’e-7 mission to explore the moon, through a high-resolution, multispectral camera to photograph its surface.
The Faculty of Navigation and Space Technology is proud of its role in supporting and assisting this fruitful scientific and space cooperation, and enhancing Egypt’s position in the field of space technology.
