Navigation Sciences and Space Technology welcomes new students coinciding with World Space Week and October Victories.

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Shalabiya, Dean of the College.
Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Heba Allah Muhammad Abdel Halim, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Manal Jamal El-Din Muhammad, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
The College of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology organized a reception for new students for the academic year 2023/2024
This came in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Endowments Directorate, Dr. Abdul Rahman Nassar, and Dr. Emad El-Din Muhammad, Head of the Central Administration for Weather Forecasts and Early Warning at the General Meteorological Authority, representing the Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors, Major General Hisham Tahoun.
The ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem and the Holy Qur’an. After that, the Dean of the College delivered a speech welcoming the new students, wishing them a happy academic year and that they would be inspired by the spirit of the October victories, which we celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of this great victory, as well as the International Week entitled Space and Entrepreneurship, which the United Nations and the world celebrate every year, while this occasion be an incentive for them at the beginning of their first university year to work harder and make an effort to achieve success.
His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Nassar also delivered his speech in which he emphasized the virtue of science and scholars in building the nation and achieving its victories, wishing the students continued success.
The College's Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Manal Jamal Al-Din, also gave a welcome speech to the new students and urged them to cooperate and participate in all activities and initiatives organized by the College, wishing them a happy academic year.
The faculty members organized an open meeting with the students, including Prof. Muhammad Murad, Department of Space Communications, teacher Dr. Muhammad Al-Farran, Department of Astronautics, teacher Dr. Ahmed Badawi, Department of Space Sciences.
After that, during the ceremony, the Dean of the College honored the new teaching assistants from the top of the first batch and had an open meeting with their fellow students, honoring the students who won competitions inside and outside the university and at the level of Egyptian universities.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, souvenir photos were taken, and an evening summer party was held for the students in the presence of the college’s dean for community service and environmental development, organized by the Student Union.
